Here's to those who felt at home reading Harry Potter. And to those who knew that their Hogwarts letters are just being delivered by Errol (who got lost once again). Here's to those who stood by Harry, not to mention Ron, Hermione, Neville and Dumbledore. Here's to the often unmentioned and under-credited characters, and to those who adore them. Here's to Hogsmede and Diagon Alley, to the Three Broomsticks and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Here's to those who felt a little empty after Deathly Hallows Part 2, and to those who are still desperately trying to fill that void. Here's to the ones who mourned the deaths of every character, whether they personally liked them or not. Here's to those who find comfort in this epic tale of love, loss and hope. Here's to those who aspire to be the next McGonagall, or maybe their very own Choosen One. Here's to those characters that never really got mentioned, and to those you wish would dissaparate from the story altogether. Here's to those who still tear up at the thought of Dobby or Dumbledore, or the other's who died heroes deaths, and here's to those who never stopped believing they were real.
This is for you, this is all for you. This is for those late nights, reading obsessively. Those late nights, waiting anxiously for the movies, hoping they would do the books justice, which they almost always did. This is for you, the Harry Potter generation. The men and women, girls and boys who grew up along Mr. Potter and his magical world. Here's to you, because nothing is better than an Harry Potter Nerd. ♥
